My VOICE

I am NOT a career politician. BUT I do believe in Service

I believe Service takes many forms, but the ultimate goal is always the same: to make a positive impact and leave my community and the world better through Action.

I am a Mom who has actively served my children and public school children by working with the administrations of ALL the public schools (Pre K - 12) my children have attended.

I am a Community Volunteer who has advocated extensively for inclusivity in education for Special Needs communities inside the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) and in my community with the Down Syndrome Association of Los Angeles (DSALA).

I have an extensive background in the Arts, and I understands the challenges facing Arts education and Arts valuation both in and outside of our school communities.

I see a need for concerned citizens, like me, to take a more active role in the shaping of policies that affect our communities.

My diversity in experience and background will bring a fresh voice and fresh perspective to the LACCD Board of Trustees.  A voice that has been under-represented for far too long.  A voice that represents the student body and the community of our nine colleges.
